![]() ![]() Ran avast and several online virus websites to check for infections and also ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I also have reburned the ISO and it still didn't work. Nothing in my PC is secondhand and I have been through the process of trial-and-error by switching sata ports around between the HDDs and DVD drive, removing drives that weren't needed for the install, tried different DVD drives, tested my HDD's using S.M.A.R.T., have reinstalled drivers that were already in place and have updated every possible driver down to the USB ports. Things to keep in mind: I burned the OS install DVD at the slowest speed possible and with no applications running. ![]() I dont even make it that far in the install anyway, no where near it actually. The iso for Win7 was uploaded to me by a friend that works for a large company. Let me also add that all of my windows keys and DVDs are legit (not pirated). Microsoft (MS) is completely useless and the people at ASUS are like a bunch of monkeys that learned English from a book that was a photocopy of a photocopy with coffee stains. Let me start by saying that I have googled everything and been all over the internet to fix my issue, I spent 8 hours scouring the internet last night.
